Western Australia Utility Locks
WESTERN AUSTRALIAN SERVICES (WAS) Locks secure meters and protects them from malicious damage, but at the same time allow access to Western Power, Synergy, Water Corporation of WA and Alinta Gas personnel.
Each (WAS) lock is master keyed and keyed to differ so that each lock is unique to the individual property, (this means your neighbours key wont open your lock and the other way round) but a master key is held by essential service utilities for their personnel to gain entry to all WAS locks to read your meter or in the case of a emergency situation.
