CMI Safe Company is an Australian family owned business that was founded in 1940 by Eric Berry. It was located at the time in Dolls Point NSW and today is still managed and operated by his five sons although the CMI Safe Company location is now situated in Carlton NSW.

With over 80 years experience in the safe and vault industry, CMI Safes Company has become a major manufacturer of high quality safes and associated security products including wall & floor safes, SCEC Approved safes and security containers, drug safes, home & office safes, strongroom doors, firearm safes, and storage cabinets & security key cabinets.

CMI Safes still design and manufacturer the majority of their safes in Australia. They do import a small range made in China but keeping to the high standards that CMI Safes are known for all imported safes are built to CMI strict standards and specifications, and still maintain the CMI Safe companies 5 year warranty on the safe construction.

The locking system on CMI Safes being mechanical, digital, combination are all UL Listed and UL Rated and if safe key operation will be the Australian made Rosslock all locking options carry a 2 year warranty. All locks are installed at the CMI factory during a rigid inspection by their safe expert technicians and all CMI SAFES in the range are fully supported by the CMI Safe companies commitment to customer service and this is covered nationally.
